Marking & arrival

The recommended routine for marking birds before a race and clocking arrivals afterwards. This guide is updated from time to time.

Marking

  1. 01 Connect GPS to the club system.
  2. 02 Make sure the clock is not connected, then connect power to the club system.
  3. 03 Wait for the blue GPS light on the club system to stay on.
  4. 04 Now connect the clock to the club system.
  5. 05 Go to Club Manager.
  6. 06 Add a race in Race Manager if needed.
  7. 07 Go to Race Marking.
  8. 08 Mark pigeons by scanning over the club system.
  9. 09 When done, click Close.
  10. 10 When asked to print, say yes (make sure the printer is connected).
  11. 11 Click back and select another race to mark, or unplug when done.
  12. 12 Best practice: keep a SIM card with data in the clock at all times.

Arrive

  1. 01 Connect GPS to the club system.
  2. 02 Make sure the clock is not connected, then connect power to the club system.
  3. 03 Wait for the blue GPS light on the club system to stay on.
  4. 04 Now connect the clock to the club system.
  5. 05 Go to Club Manager and Arrive.
  6. 06 Click the green Arrive.
  7. 07 Click Print.
  8. 08 Click Close.
  9. 09 Click Delete only if you want to (you will not be able to reprint the arrive list for this race).
