Marking & arrival
The recommended routine for marking birds before a race and clocking arrivals afterwards. This guide is updated from time to time.
Marking
- 01 Connect GPS to the club system.
- 02 Make sure the clock is not connected, then connect power to the club system.
- 03 Wait for the blue GPS light on the club system to stay on.
- 04 Now connect the clock to the club system.
- 05 Go to Club Manager.
- 06 Add a race in Race Manager if needed.
- 07 Go to Race Marking.
- 08 Mark pigeons by scanning over the club system.
- 09 When done, click Close.
- 10 When asked to print, say yes (make sure the printer is connected).
- 11 Click back and select another race to mark, or unplug when done.
- 12 Best practice: keep a SIM card with data in the clock at all times.
Arrive
- 01 Connect GPS to the club system.
- 02 Make sure the clock is not connected, then connect power to the club system.
- 03 Wait for the blue GPS light on the club system to stay on.
- 04 Now connect the clock to the club system.
- 05 Go to Club Manager and Arrive.
- 06 Click the green Arrive.
- 07 Click Print.
- 08 Click Close.
- 09 Click Delete only if you want to (you will not be able to reprint the arrive list for this race).
